WHY HAVE I BEEN SO SILENT AS I AM TRAVEING
AROUND THE WORLD?
For anyone who might be regularly checking this blog on my website, a word of explanation. I left my home in Clearwater, Florida on July 25, 2012, to take a very-extended, slow trip around the world. Just at this moment, I am thoroughly enjoying Pago Pago, American Samoa. But, Ive been unable to access my two websites (this one and www.heyboomers.com) during most of my journey because of very infrequent internet connections.
In August, I was in Sydney and Brisbane, Australia, and did manage to post three blogs here; the last one of which was a wonderful question from Anthony ([email protected]) about his dear Duke, who had just passed away. Now, Dave has just added a comment to that, which I have approved but don’t see posted yet.
So, here it is, pasted into this blog: From Dave, [email protected] I hope you guys can get in touch with each other.
“My heart goes out to you on your great loss. I lost my ‘Gretchen’ May 2011 and was devastated! To condense my experiences, my Gretchen is in my life daily (you can accept to believe this or not, but I receive physical signs with this every day), and she is guiding me to becoming an animal communicator to help people like yourself. I’m not sure of your beliefs, but I can atest that Duke is in a good place and watching over you. Pay close attention to little (odd) things, as he might be trying to let you know he is okay. Peace be to you, and I hope I can bring a little comfort to you knowing that Duke is in a wonderful place.”
For a full two months, however, I’ve been cut off from my site while I am in the South Pacific Ocean Islands. First, the Yasawa Islands off of Fiji; then Apia, Samoa, and now Pago Pago in American Samoa. They do have computers but not many internet cafes and very few wi-fi installations where I can rev’up my own laptop. Even when all the equipment is there, many times the service is turned off, frequently because of weather conditions. That tends to put one on “Island Time,”and I must confess that I have become way less compulsive about all my computing needs. So, I ask you to do that too, in regards to this blog.
Here I am now, at the library, in a very nice computer lab but my notebooks with all of the dictation from The Holy Spirit on new questions are back at my lodgings in my suitcase. Sigh! I do have tons of great stuff so I shall try to coordinate myself a bit better the next time I make it into town. You see, the rainy, cyclone season is beginning and that determines whether I set foot out the door that day. Talk about deluge quality!!!
The good news is that I turned 75 on September 10th and the Waya LeiLei Island villagers, in Fiji, gave me a proper blowout birthday party. Then I climbed a tough mountain that same week proving that I feel no different than I did when I was thirty. I will simply keep on trucking just as long as that’s the case.
So, watch this space for more good questions and answers….if the sun comes up and the “crick”don’t rise!
