Oh my Holy Spirit, my hostel friends, Luke and Jack, have a question for you about the ability to Love. Luke confesses that he can only really feel that deep emotion when he is high. Can You explain his inability to feel these deeper emotions, during his regular life, without artificial influences?
“We are here with you three and We haven’t had time to understand everything behind this question. (This Voice is very Upper and is speaking very slowly and emotionally in a very deliberate tone, as if thinking about His words carefully.) Well, let’s start at this immediate moment in time….”
Where else might you start?
“Wonderful question, because you have no idea of the background of these two men. They are extremely, extremely, extremely spiritual Upper Ones, who have no ability to deal with foolishness. Any of them, anywhere you might meet them, will not subscribe to the simplicity that passes for religion on this planet. Earth is not the only populated planet in this long-term experiment that We used to conduct.
Basically, many have come to help these various populations to co-exist in peace together. And there are some who will not be satisfied to hear watered-down teachings. These words just don’t answer their heart’s needs. But, as Earthlings born here, they can’t understand why they feel so different from the usual population.”
I understand what you are saying, since I, too, have not experienced the sort of true love emotions that some people describe; though I feel “lovingly enthusiastic” almost all the time. What does this say about degrees of Love?
“There are so many forms of Love and there isn’t any standard that will cover all of them. One could go through life for many, many years before coming into contact with someone from your own Dimension and then bonding in a true, heartfelt recognition of an equal. These humans from Other Dimensions are relatively-rare on Earth but they do recognize each other if thrown together. Naturally, they know nothing of their former lives, but they would call that attraction “True Love.” This is how the ideals of romance are formed. There is truth in the definition of matched qualities which make loving feelings possible.
If a Being is from a distant Dimension so that their kind is rarely born on Earth, they simply will not find others who cause that classical response within their heart. This is not to say that they can’t get along with the Earth’s population.”
It seems like one basic reason for such emotional estrangement is the lack of familiarity within those around them. Let’s address the difference created by the artificial means of drugs or alcohol. Is it only the obvious answer – that these substances disable inhibitions?
“No! These artificial relaxers of the human mental system bring in perfectly-healthy responses to their own native environment. They become much more open individuals, no matter where they might find themselves, because their reflexive distrust is removed. That’s all that it takes, you know, to enable the broader feelings. This is not exactly Love….. this openness that they feel… because it usually doesn’t become commitment, even if the heart feels temporarily stirred. However, it contrasts greatly with their usual reticence.”
Do You have any advice for people who recognize this “failure-to-bond-when-sober” characteristic about themselves?
“No, there is no real cure for it except to see that Earth is only a temporary assignment on a long haul of spiritual service to the planets. Not everyone can bond with everyone else and Earth is populated by many Beings wearing similar bodies. So, when discernment takes the form of standoffishness, it is not easy for an unsuspecting human to recognize. You are all trained to think that there’s a norm which everyone must fit into. When you find yourselves unable to fit that norm, then judgment is likely and an explanation of space characteristics sounds simply like madness.
This is one reason why pre-birth histories are usually not shared and everyone coming into the Earth Plane is kept ignorant of their true stations. It’s better for them to puzzle over some emotional failings than to try to incorporate the actual truth into their present assignment.”
What about the downside of these addictive substances like drugs and alcohol?
“Over dependence upon them can greatly interfere with normal life. At the very least, they might become a crutch, and at worst, they destroy normal life intentions behind this temporary Earth assignment for each individual, no matter what their Homebase might be. There are good reasons for the veils and not many good reasons for seeing behind them. Self-acceptance of built-in personality quirks can help people get along with themselves, as well as with others.
Earth is an Experimental Population Laboratory, and Luke’s question has self-diagnosed a tendency which sometimes exists within the mix. He has noticed that openness and relaxation can alleviate the condition. I would advise him to experiment with non-habit-forming methods, as well, and then, be patient until his tour of duty is over. He will return Home eventually.”
Some people champion vast causes, such as Wild Animal Rescue, Homelessness or Global Warming. Are these personal passions no accident? Have they come in, perhaps unaware of a predetermined purpose, and then, somehow “psyched” or “lucked” their way into the very situation that they came in to solve? Mightn’t this also be called Love, simply on a much higher scale than person to person?
“Y.E.S! We are beside Ourselves with excitement because this is the whole definition of Love! It far outweighs that emotion between one individual and another. Personal attraction is similar to the amalgamation of biological cells; while this, much grander concern for the whole, must begin with the intentions of at least a few cells on the planet’s surface. That small gathering soon morphs to represent a personal responsibility of the planet’s residents concerning their own effect upon her. This is a most-great situation and brings the whole earth into a higher spiritual level whenever it occurs in any degree, whatsoever.
That is exactly why these Higher Beings are seeded upon the planet from time to time!”
