Oh my Holy Spirit! Marc Rosenberger, of Stuttgart, Germany, has asked if human illness or injury has a “Specific Reason” for occuring in someone’s life? Does God ever purposefully send pain and suffering to anyone? Sometimes? Always? Occasionally?
“Sickness and injury is a significant part of the fragility that every human on Planet Earth must face during every moment of their life. You can’t understand how desperately dangerous every Earth Life is! Luckily, most people manage pretty well! But yes, We do, sometimes, let some people suffer difficulties that they might have been excused from, or protected from, otherwise.”
Are illnesses ever bestowed as a punishment?
“Yes, that could be a reincarnational plan agreed upon before birth into the present life. During Pre-Birth Planning, for instance. It may also have the purpose of training the individual in Detachment. Possibly, as a result of that human’s tendency to focus upon Self or certain life conditions. Survival is a skill that must be learned and practiced while a Soul is encapsulated within a “limited place:” the physical, human body. Earth is a perfect training ground to teach reliance upon a Higher Power! What better a tool than the personal vehicle of the human body?”
Then, is SURVIVAL the Purpose of Life?
“Not exactly, but it clears the mind wonderfully! When forced to get down to basics, humans are capable of learning the very most-basic truths; such as, the intrinsic value of good health!
All Beings learn to appreciate their Blessings when they suddenly fear losing them!
Let’s consider someone who proves to be willing to sacrifice their own life or health on behalf of another. As in, willing to risk being hit by a car to save a child in the street. This is a truly-heroic moment in the ordinary course of a life, and all on Earth and in Heaven Above laud their bravery!
In such a case, it is always spontaneous and a result of the deliberate action of the person who risks their life. We never orchestrate such a moment and cannot predict the outcome. But that injury, or that death, or that escape from disaster, becomes the highest incident in any life!
There is no way to generalize about about where any illness originates, or why. But in general, We do not try to hurt people!”
