A Full, Effective And Practical Guide Concerning Communication With The Holy Spirit

My apologies for taking so long to reply to this question. It’s been a busy summer! Samuel writes: “I need a full, effective and practical guide of communicating with The Holy Spirit.”

Oh, my Holy Spirit! Can You give Samuel some instructions as to how a human being can communicate directly with You?

“Yes, I can do that, Linda Layli, Layli Linda. But, it won’t satisfy someone who can’t even raise his hand in My Direction. Because, do you know what? That’s all it takes to start communicating with Me! To simply want to talk to Me.

Words aren’t even necessary. Only a signal aimed at My Name in someone’s own mind.

I will answer that gesture. That wish of the heart. And then, the most natural follow-up is the forming of words to establish a two-way conversation.

I think the most difficult part is for the human to listen for My Response in words; or perhaps, in a feeling of knowing, all at once what I want to convey. I can do it in packages of understanding or in specific words. It’s then the capability of belief within the human which determines Our ongoing chances of true communication. And this is where the breakdown often occurs.

The listener must believe that they’re communicating with The Holy Spirit or they will not keep trying to engage Me. That’s where the problem lies. It sounds too fantastic and maybe others will discourage that human being from their “silly claim?”

And, that’s the way that most people drift away from Me; especially if they were children when We began to talk together. Grown-ups don’t believe in things like this, do they?

That’s also what the religions teach.  Most religions tell people: “Prayer isn’t supposed to come with an audible answer. So, don’t believe people who say it does!”

Pretty soon, adult humans talk themselves out of simple statements, like:

“Raise your hand and The Holy Spirit will come to you!”

“Speak to Him and He will answer!”

“Ask and ye shall receive!”

About Linda J. Brown

Linda is a solo around the world traveler, having slowly explored the world's two hemispheres. A third trip around the equator has just begun, planned to last at least four years. After living for a year in the spiritual and beautiful town of Santa Fe, New Mexico, she has transferred to the beautiful and spiritual town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Feeling honored that the mysterious Hurricane Patricia paid her a call during her first week; she is none-the-less, eternally-grateful that this "worst hurricane in human history" decided to leave the planet alone, after all.
