When One Must Give Away A Beloved Dog, Who Will “Own” That Pet In The Afterlife?

Julie adopted a street dog named Lulu and became mutually-bonded almost instantly. A year later, her newborn daughter proved to be extremely allergic to the dog and Julie had to give her away to a woman who has provided a very loving home. Because she cannot risk exposing her daughter, Julie can’t even visit Lulu.

Her concern is “Will she be reunited with this beloved animal soul in the next world or will the present ownership situation prevail? To whom will the dog’s spirit go?”

Oh my Holy Spirit, Can You help Julie deal with this deep concern she has about her long-term, afterlife, relationship with Lulu?

“Oh My lovely Linda Layli! We are so happy to have you tell Julie the answer to this question! This is an ancient concern within the human population. Always, when such love hits them in the heart, it often outweighs those love affairs that occur within the human population. This is because of the numerous barriers between most people; compared with the purity of openness when an animal and a human fall in love.

No one expects it to be called by this label. There is no sexuality here. There is no intellectual exchange. This cuts through many, many, many barriers that usually keep people free of too many entanglements within the human race.

Consequently, when such a bond occurs, it “makes news,” so to speak, among the friends of the person. Because, although pet ownership is very common, the level of attachment that Julie describes is a most unusual one and is always, always, always, mutual! Understandably, things that arise to disturb this relationship, such as death or a move that disallows a pet, will upset the happy routine that has automatically developed between them.

What Julie is not considering, is Lulu’s ability to know a great deal about her surroundings, even though she cannot speak the human language. Never has an animal been to someone’s home without “picking up” almost everything there is to know about the people inside. When you add the fact that Lulu was there when the baby was born, you can be sure that she has followed every scrap of information since Day One of the baby’s allergic reaction to her. This is HER baby, too; and she wants only the best for her!

So, yes, Lulu has “Done The Math,” and has understood every word you have spoken about the situation. Animals take in everything through their finely-tuned senses; and they don’t need a human-spoken-language of their own to put the whole picture together. We suspect that you have spent hours explaining every detail to Lulu and she wants you to relax about the whole issue.

Your real question, Julie, concerns the afterlife. How can We explain the vastness of Love in the Upper Realms? There is no Ownership! There are hearts magnetized in attraction! And that is what you already have! Lulu may as well be an appendage! Nothing is ever going to interfere with that!

So, YES INDEED! You will be joined at the hip, Over There! Even if she and her present owner also become intertwined; nothing will be difficult or unnatural. There is not the same separateness in those Realms; as there must, necessarily be, during a material and brief life on Earth. If you would like to own another animal at some point; don’t let this situation interfere. It’s all going to work out beautifully in the long run!”
